We are Careismatic Brands Inc., the global leader in medical apparel, footwear, and accessories. We have an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Controller.
The Accounting team at Careismatic Brands is responsible for preparing financial statements for stakeholders and oversees all monetary transactions.
The Assistant Controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
This is a full-time role based in our corporate office in Chatsworth, CA.
Salary: $200,000.00-$215,000.00

What Your Day Looks Like
- Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
- Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results
- Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
- Coordinating activities of external auditors
- Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
- Managing the budget process
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
- Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
- Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
- Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
- Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff

- Integrity
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or business, but preferably an MBA.
- Seven years of experience in the accounting field.
