Job Description
Recently having combined five (5) of the top commercial swimming pool equipment distributors in the United States, Aquafinity has formed one company to supply aquatic equipment, chemicals, products/ parts and onsite technical services for commercial (resorts/leisure) and institutional (municipalities, school districts, universities, etc.) and resellers on an international basis.
The five companies were re-branded as part of Aquafinity, while retaining brand capital, and is now searching for a top-tier candidate in the role of Marketing Specialist to continued and expand the re-branding and help lead the company into the next phase. Each company has long-standing reputations in the industry and together the companies have over 175 years of commercial/institutional aquatic experience. The perfect candidate will have the ability to convey that level of experience and the new Aquafinity venture across all advertising mediums; print, website, email, social media, etc.
The qualified candidate must have experience in the following areas:
· Strategy Development: develop, implement and manage marketing plans and strategies in alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives
· Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer trends, target audiences, and competitive landscapes, and use data to create strategies and make informed decisions
· Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, i.e. digital, print, social media and events. Monitor performance and make necessary adjustments
· Content Development: Create and oversee content for marketing materials, including advertisements, website content, blogs, social media posts and email campaigns
· Digital Marketing: Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms for online advertising, email marketing, SEO, SEM and social media marketing to increase the company’s online presence and drive customer engagement
· Collaboration: Collaborate with management, sales, customer service and technical service departments to ensure marketing strategies support overall business strategies.
· Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to identify new opportunities for the company
· Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and handle public relations efforts to manage the company’s public image
Along with the above, some detailed responsibilities of the position include the following:
· Literature layout and design
· Website updating and enhancement
· Email and blog campaigns
· Specialized project support to regional Sales Representatives
Education & Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in marketing
· Several years marketing experience in small to midsize business development
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Proficiency in using marketing tools and software: Word Press a must
· Graphic design and production, building on new re-=branding approach
· Current marketing trends and best practices
