Media Sales Associate - Auto Dealership & Parts Specialist

Reports To: Company owners & Dealership Sales Director
Compensation: Heavily commission-based, with a guaranteed base and substantial upside for success. With health insurance and 401k package.
Purpose: Drive growth and revenue by actively selling targeted print and digital advertising solutions to Auto Dealerships Parts Managers and GMs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and expand relationships with existing Auto Dealership accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and success.
- Prospecting: Proactively identify and engage new Auto Dealership accounts, utilizing our database and independent research strategies.
- Market Awareness: Stay abreast of competitive automotive publications, industry news, and events to identify potential sales prospects.
- Communication: Maintain a consistent level of outbound communication through calls, emails, social media interactions, and mailings, tailored to the Auto Dealership audience.
- Data Management: Diligently use CRM and pipeline management software to track, update, and analyze sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to create compelling ads tailored for Auto Dealership clients. Collaborate with the digital marketing department to craft effective digital advertising options.
- Process Adherence: Follow monthly sales processes to ensure efficient workflows and progress towards company and individual targets.
Performance Objectives:
- Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets in the Auto Dealership segment.
- Initiate a minimum specified volume of outbound communication, maintaining a high conversion rate.
- Ensure a high retention rate for existing Auto Dealership clients.
- Keep the CRM and pipeline software updated, ensuring accurate and timely entries for Auto Dealership accounts.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a recognized institution.
Experience: 3-5 years in a Media Sales role, B2B phone sales, telemarketing or similar, with a focus on selling to Auto Dealerships. Comfortable with selling print and digital offerings.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Office365, especially Word and Excel, with a working knowledge of CRM software.
Soft Skills: Exceptional phone and email communication skills, time management, and a professional approach to responsibilities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: Some flexibility in a hybrid work schedule. While performing duties, the employee will primarily be engaged in phone calls and computer tasks, with occasional standing, walking, and collaboration with team members. The office environment is supportive and collaborative, with a moderate noise level. Occasional travel for tradeshow or conference attendance and possible client entertaining around tradeshows or conferences.
