Reports To: Lead Technicians, Office Staff

Job Requirements:

• Show up each day on time at 7:30am, in uniform with tools and assist with loading the truck for the days jobs
• Responsible for cleaning up after job and making sure all tools and material are packed up.
• Ensure a clean job: put on shoe covers, put down drop cloths, etc. Make sure that the customers home is neat and tidy before leaving
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Increase indirect revenue by selling additional services. i.e.) automatic shut off, pressure reducing valve, etc.
• Take all job photos. Photos of all jobs should have before and after photos. Anything being installed with a model# or serial # there should be a clear photo that can be read. All AO Smith water heaters a clear, legible photo must capture the contractor rewards label.
• Be able to support lead technician by knowing the tools and materials needed for each job
• Maintain equipment from a mechanical and cleanliness standpoint to ensure a constant state of readiness
• Complete daily work orders
• Stay up to date on current apps and sites that the company is using. Master the use of various software for recording information, scheduling, and communication.
• Bring suggestions for service improvements and new service opportunities to your supervisor

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Required to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
• Must frequently lift and/or move fifty pounds or greater
• Must occasionally work in confined spaces
• Must occasionally work for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed
• Must be able to meet DOT requirements

Customer Relations

• Ensure that the customer is extremely pleased with the experience.
• Initiate excellent communication with the customer before, during and after the service appointment.
• Ensure that all Field Technicians behave in a way that increases the customer’s confidence and comfort level.

Operations

• Ensure that any lost or left-behind equipment is accounted for, reported to management, and retrieved in a timely manner where possible.
• Ensure that all Waterheaters.com DBA Retro Hot Water & Heating standard operating procedures are followed to the letter
• Work with the Operations Manager to complete the Vehicle Loadout Checklist and the Vehicle Appearance Checklist as scheduled.
• Communicate with the Office Manager regarding schedule and job updates, customer communication, and any other relevant information.
