Appointment Scheduler

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Appointment Coordinator. As an Appointment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient service by scheduling appointments and providing administrative support in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using medical practice management system.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing excellent customer service
- Verify insurance coverage for office visits and have general understanding of insurance benefits
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues

Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
