The Controller's Office provides the tools, resources, and expertise to support the complex and highly regulated financial operations of the university. As a Application Analyst, you will
Analyze processes for preparing and documenting transactions to improve customer service, quality of operations, and dependability;
Develop sustainable queries reducing redundancy of work and internal dependencies;
Analyze processes for delivering services to campus including accounts payable, payroll, and other operations areas;
Assist with ongoing training for the controller team on technology tools and automations.
Maintain documentation for, access to, and functionality of business process automations.
Support and train users in using technology tools implemented by the Business Process Improvement Team.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology or related field and/or an equivalent level of training and experience;
Significant experience in software development;
Strong understanding (or, be able to perform with little oversight or guidance, if needed) of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams;
Experience using the Microsoft Power platform;
Familiarity with JSON formatting;
Experience implementing processes improvements in a financial setting; and
Demonstrated experience working with query tool, SAS, SQL, UNIX and/or Access;
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance systems such as Banner Finance.
Experience with MicroStrategy.
