Application Systems Analyst

MBA CSi is seeking an Applications Systems Analyst to support the Delivery Technology organization of the US Postal Service. The work will be performed at the USPS's Engineering Headquarters facility in Merrifield, VA.
Essential Functions:

• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's Application Systems.
• Troubleshooting technical issues.
• Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
• Provides technical support to project team members.
• Resolving network issues.
• May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
• Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
• Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
• Testing and evaluating new technologies.
• Typically reports to the team lead of the development group.

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in area of specialty
• 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area

• Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows (server) system.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Tools
• Must be familiar with computer periphery installation, such as printer, scanner, network and so on.
• To be able to demonstrate the system developed by development team.
• Knowledge of Oracle database and SQL commands is a plus.
• Knowledge of Kiosk design is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software design is a plus.
• Quick learner of new environment and system.
