Job Description
The engineer will be responsible for the operational support of DataPower, and API Connect for customer's Gateway team.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a relevant IT operational/production support position
3 years of experience supporting IBM API Connect
OpenShift/Kubernetes; IBM Cloud Pak products experience is a plus
Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues
Ability to analyze logs and identifying the kind of issue and route it accordingly.
Dashboarding, reporting, and alerting using Splunk or similar tools
Strong drive for process improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot / triage Production Issues
Support on call on weekends as per roaster
Lead triage call with Incident management team and project teams
Provide interface support, identify if it's a platform specific issue and route to the platform team etc.
Monitor and report on system health
Document learnings, root cause analysis and defect prevention steps.
