Are you a clean freak that can't stand a mess? Looking for a stable daily routine where you can take ownership of a property and keep it running at peak condition? If so we'd like to talk to you about keeping the common areas and vacant apartments we manage spick and span.

We have a great property management team and amazing maintenance techs, but we need to add a new member of the team with a detailed "eye" for cleaning and keeping things tidy. This position would be of a custodian / janitorial nature and involve cleaning the common areas of the Temtor Lofts and cleaning apartments after our maintenance techs have finished their work, but before new tenants move in. Other duties include some light groundskeeping such as swapping trash cans and clearing sidewalks, as well as basic maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs and clearing drains.

• Skilled knowledge of cleaning methods and techniques as well as proper cleaning products.
• Ability to be both good following directions and to work effectively under minimal supervision while keeping projects on schedule.
• Ability to prioritize and problem-solve.
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, and able to follow directions.
• Professionalism and a courteous attitude are a must.

Other Requirements

• Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Required: At least 2 years of cleaning experience
• Required: Pass a background check.
• Required: Must have a reliable, street-legal vehicle as well as a valid Drivers License.
• Required: Live within 15 miles of 8125 Michigan, 63111
• Required: Must be available from at least 8am to 4:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays. For those with skillsets in landscaping, painting, or other maintenance work, additional hours may be available. Those are somewhat flexible but would occur between 8:00 and 4:30pm M-F.
• Preferred: Previous lawn or landscaping experience. Light exterior work will be involved.
• Bonus: Previous rehab or maintenance experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
