NBCUniversal is seeking an Analyst to join the Streaming Analytics team focused on building monetization insights, driving yield, and supporting planning and sales with analysis on ad products and campaign trends. As an Analyst on the Streaming Analytics team, you will be a key contributor who uses data and business insights to creatively solve problems that have a tangible impact to NBCU's streaming growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In collaboration with manager, produce deliverables to leadership and sales teams to monitor revenue, deal performance, sell out and other key metrics.
- Support standard reporting needs to provide visibility into the health of the Ad Sales business, including analysis on assets and IOs.
- Analyze consumption and inventory trends to inform packaging, sponsorship product forecasting and macro optimizations.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer critical time-sensitive business questions, identifying areas of strategic opportunity for the business.
- Inform decision-making by visually and verbally synthesizing data into easy-to-consume storylines for both operational and executive audiences.
- Maintain deliverables within Excel and PowerPoint as part of recurring meetings and communication around product and client performance.
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Ad Sales, analytics, or publisher/supply side
- Strategic thinker with the ability to derive conclusions and recommendations from raw data
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail, sense of curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision and purpose
- Ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Team oriented and collaborative with an aptitude and willingness to learn
- The ideal candidate will be someone who already has had at least some experience in digital Ad Sales and is looking to dive into the analytics to inform business stakeholders. This is a role for someone who enjoys analyzing data in spreadsheets and databases all day.

- Above average Excel and PowerPoint skills are a requirement for this role. The willingness to learn and improve these skills is mandatory.
