We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Airfreight Export Coordinator to join Concept in Freights, INC. As an Airfreight Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating and overseeing the airfreight export processes to ensure the smooth and timely movement of cargo. You will work closely with internal teams, airlines, partners, customs authorities, and customers to ensure exceptional service delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Airfreight Export Operations: Handle all aspects of airfreight export operations, including booking cargo space with airlines, preparing documentation, coordinating cargo consolidation, and managing shipment tracking.
Customer Communication and business development: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their airfreight export requirements. Proactively address inquiries, provide shipment status updates, and resolve any issues or concerns and increase business potential.
Documentation Management: Ensure accurate and complete preparation of export documentation, including air waybills, shipping instructions, packing lists, commercial invoices, and any other required documentation.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with airfreight export regulations and customs requirements in various countries to ensure proper adherence and avoid any potential delays or penalties.
Freight Rate Negotiations: Collaborate with airlines ato negotiate competitive airfreight rates while maintaining service quality standards.
Problem Solving: Address any potential challenges or issues that may arise during the airfreight export process promptly and effectively, implementing appropriate solutions to ensure smooth operations.
Operational Efficiency: Continuously review and streamline airfreight export processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate with the sales, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and provide support when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven experience as an Airfreight Export Coordinator or similar role in an NVOCC or freight forwarding company.
- Strong knowledge of airfreight export operations, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with various shipping terms (INCOTERMS) and international trade practices.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and applications for tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing documentation and managing shipments.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong sense of dedication and teamwork.
