ABOUT US

Welcome to Level UP Enrichment! We're a collaboration of premium enrichment providers on a mission: to help students discover their passions and grow into exceptional young adults.

YOUR ROLE

Our flexible programs vary between 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm and run for a 1.5-hour class, a perfect fit for morning workers, night shifters, or students.

You will travel to an assigned school and enlighten minds through our enrichment programs, including:

• Art Studio - teach about famous artists and have your students try their style themselves!
• Escape Room - solve puzzles and riddles as a group to get the prize!
• Lego Stop Motion - create a stop motion movie using Legos!

WE OFFER

• Flexible Locations around San Diego
• Gas Reimbursement for faraway assignments
• $100 bonus upon completion of Level 1 Training
• Pre-Written Lessons and provided materials
• All we need from you is Passion!

CAREER PROGRESSION

• Level 1 Instructor, $22/hr: Supportive Role to Level 2 Instructors
• Level 2 Instructor, $24/hr: Class Lead
• Level 3 Instructor, $26/hr: Training Lead

We believe in growth - most of our Level 2s start as Level 1s!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Availability Between 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm on Weekdays
• Background Check Clearance *Due to the nature of this position and regulatory requirements, candidates with felony convictions will not be considered for this role*

BONUS SKILLS

Experience in assisting/teaching, interest in child development and psychology, knowledge in art, puzzle solving, performance or video creation. Don't worry if you lack these - we provide Paid Training!

YOUR IMPACT

Did you know that after-school enrichment courses can significantly improve academic achievement, behavioral outcomes, social and emotional learning, physical health, and resilience and well-being?

As after-school enrichment instructors, you help students discover and develop interests outside of the regular academic curriculum. You build confidence, enhance motivation, and foster lifelong skills.

A research paper by Dennehy and Noam (2005) found that positive adult role models in after-school programs can contribute significantly to students' academic and social development! Part of an after-school program's quality is linked to the instructor’s teaching skill, experience, and training, which positively correlates with improved academic outcomes and social development (Vandell et al., 2007).

As an instructor with Level UP Enrichment, you will be trained on how to deliver higher-quality programs and be equipped to manage classroom dynamics effectively. We believe that everyone who has the passion for it, along with our in-class training, can become an amazing teacher. You have the ability to inspire the next generation!
