B. Riley's summer internship program for Real Estate valuation is an on-the-job training experience for rising college seniors, offering a unique opportunity to learn at a rapid pace from accessible leaders who are all recognized experts across several practices and sectors. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Perform analysis as part of a team handling multiple projects with varying deadlines each month.
2. Provide support for other ad-hoc projects as needed.
3. Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
1. Must be graduating in 2024 with an undergraduate degree, or currently enrolled with outstanding academic achievement.
2. Accepted majors: Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal style.
4. Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive.
5. Knowledge of fundamental Real Estate and accounting principles.
6. Excellent quantitative and technical skills, including advanced Microsoft Office skillset, and specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint within a Windows environment.
7. Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects.
8. A team player attitude. Someone who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-performance work environment.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Prior experience within a Real Estate related work environment including internship and/or affinity groups.
