Church Pension Group (CPG) is a financial services firm located in Midtown Manhattan. CPG was founded in 1917 to provide pension benefits to eligible clergy of the Episcopal Church. Since then, its mission has expanded to include life and disability insurance, health benefits, property & casualty insurance, and publishing. The Investment Group is responsible for the successful and prudent investment of the retirement, health and insurance assets supporting the clergy and lay employees of the Episcopal Church.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Extract data from financial statements to enter into database and periodically reconcile numbers to other data sources.
- Prepare analyses and reporting of relevant data on covered asset classes and functions.
- Track progress with existing and prospective managers.
- Assist in departmental operations, administration, and reporting functions.
- Assist in preparation of board materials and other recurring reports.
- Help maintain departmental investment databases.
- Assist with additional departmental projects and deliverables as needed, especially during peak periods.

- Familiarity with Real Estate industry, structures, and terminology is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, required.
- Familiarity with databases, analyzing large data sets, DoMo experience a plus
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Unwavering focus on accuracy.
- Ability to understand and extract financial data from financial reporting documents.
- Working knowledge of investment management, economics and capital markets.
- Ability to meet deadlines is critical for investment decision making and Investment Committee reporting.
Education & Experience
- B.A./B.S. required. Finance, economics or accounting degree preferred;
- CFA/CAIA preferred;
- 1+ years of relevant work experience;
- Demonstrated academic/professional excellence.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Commuting to the office, on average, three days a week. Extensive use of a computer keyboard is a demand of the position to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid (two days working from home, three days working in a standard office environment, Tue-Thurs.). Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000
