2025 Summer Analyst - Roles and Responsibilities
Ares is currently searching for a highly motivated, meticulous teammate to join as an Intern in the Ares Investor Relations & Product Management teams. This individual will support the Investor Relations and Product Specialists focused in either Credit, Infrastructure, or Real Estate business to provide Investor Relations support, including written and oral communications with investors, market and competitor research and analysis. Role responsibilities include:
- Supporting Investor Relations Team to provide information and expertise on firm strategies and funds to clients and marketing teams.
- Assisting in the production of presentations for investors and internal constituencies
- Conducting market and competitor analysis in support of strategic decision-making and investor communications
- Supporting strategic projects for new business development initiatives across the firm
- Supporting fundraising for private funds across platforms
- Reporting and handling transactional data to third-party providers
- Interfacing and developing strong working relationships with all internal subject matter experts of the Firm including portfolio management, marketing, Investor Relations, operations, legal, compliance, human resources.
- Streamlining processes by crafting more efficient methods of gathering, sorting, and accessing data.
- Ensuring consistency of data and other information across all materials.
Qualifications

- Problem solving abilities, to research solutions and suggest resolutions.
- A strong work ethic and teamwork skills.
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- The ability to apply judgment, creativity, and writing skills in developing and editing responses.
- Outstanding attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy and organization.
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
Candidates for the 2025 Summer Analyst Program:
- Are currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, ideally majoring in Finance or Economics
- Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
- Have a track record of academic excellence and participation in campus activities

Direct Lending:
Our Direct Lending group provides financing to middle-market corporate borrowers across a range of industries, as well as project finance, vendor finance and commercial finance (asset-based and cash flow loans to small and middle-market companies). We are a long-term, value oriented direct lender, targeting companies with a history of stable cash flows, demonstrated competitive advantages and experienced management teams. We place a high priority on market-leading companies with identifiable growth prospects that we believe can generate significant free cash flow.
Real Estate:
Our Real Estate Group manages comprehensive public and private equity and debt strategies. We provide investors access to our capabilities through several vehicles: a publicly traded commercial mortgage Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT"), Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation (NYSE: ACRE), U.S. and European Real Estate private equity commingled funds, U.S. Real Estate private debt commingled funds, and Real Estate equity and debt separately managed accounts.
Infrastructure:
Our Infrastructure strategy seeks to originate and manage diverse, high-quality debt and equity investments in private infrastructure assets. Our Infrastructure Debt strategy targets global investments across the digital, energy, transportation and utility sectors, and our Infrastructure Opportunities strategy is focused on value-add investments in climate and sustainable infrastructure, with a flexible approach.

Duration: 10 weeks
Compensation: Paid Internship - the total base salary (subject to change) is expected to be $90,000 (prorated over 10 weeks)
