Summary:
The Adult Day Service Senior Program Coordinator will provide day to day strategic guidance to ensure that the Adult Day Services Department is fully executing on all participant goal expectations and quality of service is been rendered. The Senior Program Coordinator ensures and monitors that the Adult Day programs under the Program Coordinators are running at maximum efficiency, keeping in regulatory compliance as well as providing a high quality of service for all participants that attend the programs. The Senior Program Coordinator is to provide guidance to the Program Coordinators and Program Supervisors; and their staff on an ongoing basis.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Supervise Program Coordinators and Supervisors in all department operations including supervision of all DSPs, admissions, billing, transportation, incident management, training, health and safety, etc.
- Provide management support for day to day operations, programming and special projects, ensuring alignment with agency values and culture.
- Guide Program Coordinators in delivering diverse quality services and ensuring compliance with regulations as well as integration of new initiatives.
- Ensure Quality, Person Centered programming is delivered and documented as per agency, OPWDD, and OMIG standards
- Enforce agency and regulatory policies and quality standards.
- Develop program policies, oversee training, and implement efficient work systems.
- Exercise discretion in decision-making, influencing personnel management and program direction.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient operations and quality services
- Provide updates and operational reports to Director of Adult Day Services
- Maintain on-call availability and flexible work hours while ensuring compliance and coverage of work responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in related field preferred;
- Bachelors Degree in related field required;
- Experience with Day program models including Day Hab, Day Hab without Walls, Pre-Vocational, Vocational:
- 2+ years of administrative/supervisory experience in the field;
- Comprehensive knowledge of OPWDD regulations;
