Responsibilities:

• Provide Direct Support to clients in our Adult Day Services program by assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, and meal preparation.
• Facilitate engaging activities and programs that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical well-being.
• Assist clients in developing and maintaining functional skills, independence, and community integration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized person-centered plans.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Direct Support role, preferably in an Adult Day Services setting.
• Passionate about working with individuals with diverse abilities and committed to promoting their independence and dignity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, their families, and the team.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and medication administration.
