BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPE:
The Money Management Coordinator assists older adults or adults with disabilities to remain independent in their home through community resources and support. Will conduct comprehensive financial assessments and reassessments. Able to develop plans based on personal and financial strengths and needs and in alignment with the Money Management guidelines set forth by the Illinois Department on Aging and Alternatives. Acts as a volunteer coordinator for the Money Management Program.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation of Money Management Program.
-Provide direct Money Management Service to older adults and adults with disabilities in need of assistance.
-Documentation
-Volunteer Coordination
-Networking.
-Program development/evaluation/outcomes
- Writing checks and balancing check book for participants
-Other Duties as Assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years education or relevant experience managing money for others required. Person must have demonstrated skills or background working with a diverse population, direct service experience, good interpersonal skills and financial management skills.

- 8 hour shift
