HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Admissions Clerk under direction, trains, assists with scheduling and performs a variety of duties related to admissions and/or selling of tickets. This position reports to the Lead/Admissions Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Handles all phases of selling admission tickets
- Maintains accurate records of all transactions
- Prepares memberships for processing
- Operates and balances cash register receipts
- Quote rates at the Zoo and Safari Park admissions
- Handles routine telephone calls concerning scheduled
- Administers the admissions and ticket selling functions
- Follow Admissions policies and procedures
- Performs arithmetic calculations
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
- Communicate effectively
- Interact well with a diverse group of people
- Deal tactfully and courteously with the public

- JOB EXPERIENCE
- Prior customer service job experience that deals directly with the public on a regular basis
- EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to enter data into an automated system
- Able to handle a variety of transactions
- Ability to work effectively with others
