Position Title: Admission Clerk I

Reports To: Intake and Admission Supervisor I/II

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides administrative, benefit verification, lobby support and data entry. Will work within the youth outpatient mental health and SUD programs to provide administrative support.

$24 - $25 / Hour DOE

HOURS

Up to 40 hours per week.

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES

1. Provides clerical support to assigned Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC) department and/or staff.
2. Responsible for inputting information into required data systems.
3. Responsible for engaging patients with best practices and customer care.
4. Responsible for benefit verification and reporting benefit issues to appropriate Departments.
5. Completes data entry in all patient portal systems related to referrals admissions and transfers.
6. Manages faxes, scans and uploading functions as needed.
7. Assists with the development of and submits accurate reports regarding on activities, and data reports on patient information and or other TTC business interests as needed.
8. Conduct body and property searches of patients in accordance with the search policy and procedure and maintain annual certification in these procedures.
9. Perform UA testing of patients, in accordance with the UA testing policy and procedure, and maintain annual certification in these procedures.
10. Communicates with other Departments as it relates to patient admission and care.
11. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Director and/or Administration.

None

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or G.E.D. Two (2) years of college preferred. At least two (2) years data entry experience preferred. Computer skills required. Experience working with underserved populations helpful.
