Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrator to join our growing structural engineering firm. The person in this position will handle day-to-day administrative tasks and work closely with the owner/principal to keep projects running smoothly, respond to clients, and maintain online files. This is a full-time position based in Long Island City, Queens.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing contracts
- Invoicing
- Processing payments
- Email with clients
- Updating spreadsheets
- Setting up and Tracking jobs
- Creating online files
- Renewing Licenses and Certifications
- Ordering supplies, etc.
Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, FreshBooks, Google Docs/Sheets.
- 3-4 years office/admin experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently and provide swift updates on projects and billing.
- Experience in Architectural/Engineering/Construction industries a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
