D2 Government Solutions (D2GS) is seeking a full time candidate for Administrative Support Specialistat our Fort Story, VA site.

Responsibilities

  1. Executive Staff Scheduling:
    • Utilize intermediate knowledge to effectively manage and execute daily schedules for Executive Staff personnel.
    • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and tasks to ensure optimal use of time and resources.
  2. Active Duty Management Compliance:
    • Adhere to and implement Navy Personnel Command and Department of Defense (DoD) instructions for Active Duty management.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations related to funding, training, administrative processes, and mobilization requirements.
  3. Performance Evaluation Oversight:
    • Manage the Navy Performance Evaluation System using NAVY FIT98 for enlisted officers.
    • Apply intermediate knowledge of relevant manuals, including the Navy Correspondence Manual, The Directives Management Program Manual, The Navy and Marine Corps Awards Manual, The Standard Subject Identification Code (SSIC Manual), and the Navy and Marine Corps Awards Manual, to ensure accurate and comprehensive evaluations.
  4. Data and Word Processing Management:
    • Utilize intermediate knowledge in data and word processing formats to maintain and process data efficiently.
    • Provide rapid access to specific information, contributing to streamlined administrative processes.
  5. Military Experience Integration:
    • Leverage a minimum of four (4) years of Navy Active Duty experience or related experience.
    • Apply firsthand knowledge of military protocols, procedures, and culture to enhance operational effectiveness.
  6. Master Military Pay Account (MMPA) Oversight:
    • Apply intermediate knowledge to access, navigate, and read the Master Military Pay Account (MMPA) data.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance in managing military pay-related information.
  7. Administrative Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for improvement in administrative processes related to scheduling, data management, and compliance.
    • Implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the execution of responsibilities.

Qualifications

  1. Executive Staff Scheduling:
    • Possess intermediate knowledge to effectively manage and execute daily schedules for Executive Staff personnel.
    • Demonstrate organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  2. Navy Personnel and DoD Instructions:
    • Hold intermediate knowledge of Navy Personnel Command and Department of Defense (DoD) instructions related to Active Duty management.
    • Exhibit understanding of funding, training, administrative, and mobilization requirements and processes within the military context.
  3. Navy Performance Evaluation System:
    • Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of the Navy Performance Evaluation System, utilizing NAVY FIT98 for the evaluation of enlisted officers.
    • Familiarity with relevant manuals, including the Navy Correspondence Manual, The Directives Management Program Manual, The Navy and Marine Corps Awards Manual, and The Standard Subject Identification Code (SSIC) Manual.
  4. Data and Word Processing Proficiency:
    • Possess intermediate knowledge in data and word processing formats, enabling the efficient maintenance and processing of data.
    • Ensure rapid access to specific information, utilizing technological tools for streamlined data management.
  5. Military Experience:
    • Bring a minimum of four (4) years of Navy Active Duty experience or related experience to the role.
    • Leverage firsthand knowledge and understanding of military protocols and operational dynamics.
  6. Master Military Pay Account (MMPA):
    • Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of accessing, navigating, and reading the Master Military Pay Account (MMPA) data.
    • Utilize this knowledge for accurate and efficient management of military pay-related information.
  7. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay informed about and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines pertaining to Navy Active Duty management, personnel evaluations, and data processing.
    • Ensure adherence to established standards and procedures for military administration.
