TITLE: Administrative Program Assistant
POSITION: Temporary Part-Time, up to 20 hrs/week
LOCATION: 2012 Pine Street, San Francisco

SALARY: $19-$21/hr
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Japanese Community Youth Council (JCYC) provides youth with the experiences, opportunities and services that prepare them to be healthy, productive members of the community who are able and emboldened to accomplish their dreams. JCYC Youth Workforce Programs does this by providing employment opportunities that enhance the lifelong employability, earning potential and development of program participants. The JCYC Youth Workforce Programs consists of some of the largest youth employment programs in San Francisco, and includes MYEEP, SF YouthWorks, Project Pull, OFA, and SF STEM Academy, together providing subsidized employment experience as well as other learning activities to over 3,000 San Francisco youth annually.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Administrative Program Assistant is a key team member of the administrative backbone for the JCYC Workforce Programs that enables the team to effectively and successfully execute programs that provide workforce opportunities and experiences to San Francisco's youth. The Program Assistant will be a part of the JCYC Workforce Administrative team and report directly to the Office Administrator.

This is a temporary part-time in-person/hybrid position with a tentative schedule of working between 9:00am-6:00pm. The position is expected to start in Early April 2024 for training and last until early August 2024. Exact dates may vary, depending on programmatic needs and funding.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support management of sensitive participant data, primarily using Salesforce.com
- Support onboarding process of program participants
- Provide compassionate and friendly customer service
- Participate in events and meetings as needed
- Provide direct administrative support for program implementation, including data entry
- Maintain accurate files for all youth
- Assist with organization and tasks around the office
- Other duties as assigned by Office Administrator and Workforce Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Proficient in Zoom, Microsoft Office, Google Classroom, and G Suite
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Experience working with diverse, urban populations within a youth development field
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Attention to detail
