The Location Support Staff in Corvallis, OR, is seeking an Administrative Officer.

Provides leadership and management for business functions at the United States Department of Agriculture, Corvallis research Location, to enable agricultural research by four research units operating across the Pacific Northwest. The Administrative Officer has responsibility for a wide range of administrative and business activities such as management, budget, finance, accounting, human resources, grants and agreements, purchasing, contracting, property management, safety, and facilities. They lead, supervise and develop a team of administrative professionals specializing in these business functions. They effectively communicate administrative requirements, processes, and needs within and outside the Location. The Administrative Officer, along with the Research Leaders of each research unit, is part of the ARS Corvallis Location leadership team and provides business expertise to help shape the future growth and direction of the Location.
