Legal Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist
We are looking for a versatile Legal Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to help run the office
and support the managing attorney with her cases and day to day operation. This position is
full-time and offers competitive starting salary, regular pay raise reviews, and great benefits
(for example: health insurance, dental insurance, PTO (Vacation/Sick)) with a pay starting at
$44,000-$50,000 (based on experience). Part-time position is also available starting at $22 per
hour based on experience.
Location: Tigard, OR. Close to Washington Square Mall
In this role, your responsibilities include:
● Provide support to the managing attorney including, organizing, scanning, copying,
note-taking and additional projects as requested.
● Receive direction from the managing attorney and exercise independent judgment
while developing the knowledge to understand the function, policies, procedures, and
compliance requirements.
● Seek ways to improve operational processes and determine proper course of action
based on customer needs.
● Manage communications (screen calls, redirect calls, take messages), scheduling and
confirming appointments, and preparing meeting facilities with professionalism and
etiquette.
● Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner, perform data entry
tasks, and prepare, draft and finalize legal documents under direction of the supervising
attorney.
● Witness or notarize documents.
● Perform office management duties including, receiving deliveries, sort and distribute
incoming mail, and maintain and order office supplies.
● Manage attorney calendars, coordinate and schedule travel arrangements and expense
reports.
Job Requirements:
To ensure success as a Legal Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, you should have competency
in general office administration, be detail oriented with a positive attitude, friendly and
outgoing personality, and strong work ethic
You should have:
● Minimum College Degree
● Formal qualification in office administration, secretarial work, or related trainings a plus
● Prior experience as a legal receptionist a plus
● Familiarity with legal terms, legal documents, and filing a plus
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Extensive experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, printers, copiers,
scanners, faxes, and appointment scheduling and call forwarding systems.
● Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational skills and be adaptive with
excellent ability to multitask
● Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
● 100% in office, Regular office hours(M-F 10 a-5p)
