Job Summary
The
Administrative Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Performs multi-department/unit administrative activities including, scheduling, performing duties such as invoice recordkeeping, Krono's, coordination of meetings, meeting minutes, and conferences, obtaining supplies, and working on special projects. Supports CHOC’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan.
Pay Range
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience in healthcare. Minimum two (2) years of clerical
or administrative support experience
Education
- Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Training
- Required: Basic typing/computer experience such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Specialized Skills
- Required: Ability to exercise good judgment and critical thinking skills. Possess project management skills and proven ability to complete tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of associates and establish cooperative relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to recommend changes in procedures to improve the survey preparedness process. Ability to advocate for safety for associates, physicians, patients and visitors. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently Excellent time management, and organization. Ability to take initiative and follow through.
