Swick Cable is an underground utility contractor that has been in business since 1997. We operate mainly in Eastern Iowa. We install, repair, and replace underground utilities such as fiber optic cable, water, electrical and sewer.

Position Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative, clerical, and organizational support to upper management, field staff and vendors alike.
· Collect data and prepare reports.
· Parts/ Supply ordering and inventory management
· Maintain and organize filing system.
· Route documents according to instruction for review, correction, and production processing
· Prepare Statements and Invoices for processing Payments.
· Timely and accurately distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence.
· Prepare Weekly Payroll
· Coordinate and facilitate meetings.
· Practice good judgement, discretion, and confidentiality of sensitive information.
· Act as liaison between other departments (Employee’s) as well as outside vendors and customers to research questions timely and accurately.
· Perform light HR duties to aid in communication between Employees & Management.
· Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED Required Certification or Associates degree preferred
· 1-2 Years Administrative Experience and/or Knowledge of Broadband and/or Utilities Construction a Plus but not required.
· Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communication with fellow employees, vendors, customers/ public.
· Proficient computer skills, ability to adapt /learn appropriate and necessary programs related to the field (including but not limited to Microsoft Suite)
· Proven office administrative experience.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Adaptability to embrace change in a workplace while encouraging others.
· Answer office phone calls during weekday business hours.
· Valid driver’s license.
