We specialize in underground storage tank closure, soil and groundwater remediation, geophysical surveys, groundwater supply, and general environmental consulting (Phase I/II ESAs, soil evaluation, etc.). As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about contributing to the success of our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage administrative tasks including filling forms, booking travel arrangements, filing documents, and assisting with marketing efforts.
- Handle incoming calls and web-based inquiries, providing excellent customer service to clients and subcontractors.
- Keep project and proposal logs up-to-date
- Assist in filing VA 811 (formerly Miss Utility) tickets.
- Manage insurance documentation.
- Check the PO box weekly, depositing checks as needed.
- Order and maintain office and field supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide general project support, including scheduling onsite work and transcription of field notes.
- Must have a valid driver's license and means of transportation for occasional errands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word, is essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

This is a part-time, in-person position with a flexible work schedule. Candidates must be available to work during standard business hours.
