Job description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Transcribe and type documents as needed
- Coordinate and assist manager/ owner/ supervisor
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, patients, and visitors
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or Administrative Assistant preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with office procedures is a plus
- Ability to transcribe and type accurately and efficiently
- Proficient in using Google Docs or similar software for scheduling, email, and document management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
