Casa de los Niños is one of the most established and well respected non-profit organizations in Tucson. We have been helping kids and healing families since 1973. Our services include parent education classes, Foster Care, Parents As Teachers, Behavioral Health, and Nurse-Family Partnership Program!
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant supports the functions of Nurse-Family Partnership. This position provides administrative and clerical support to staff, including answering telephones, organizing materials for visits, assisting with team meetings and Community Advisory Board meetings and minutes, data entry, and reporting program outcomes to funders.
Essential Duties

  • Provides clerical and administrative support to program staff and assists with all aspects of the office environment.
  • Inputs NFP data in a timely and accurate manner into the web-based information system; complies with or assists in compiling statistical information for special reports.
  • Maintains and reports data for grant funders monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Maintains spreadsheets for reporting purposes updating for program changes as needed.
  • Performs program support tasks such as organizing forms, files, photocopying, orders, and maintains program materials and educational handouts.
  • Utilizes computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet, and file maintenance programs to enter, store, and/or retrieve information and summarize data in preparation of standardized reports.
  • Compiles a variety of resources; may participate in community outreach activities and retrieve client referrals as assigned.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and two years of office/clerical experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Must demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills, excellent organizational, clerical, written, and verbal communication skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proof of COVID immunization.
  • Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to meet training and organization requirements for the position.

  • Must possess or be able to qualify for and maintain a valid Arizona department of public safety level one fingerprint clearance card.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the organization's automobile policy.
