Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the finance department and perform various clerical, administrative and financial tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general administrative duties involving travel & entertainment, treasury, legal and insurance compliance. Which includes filing, data entry, record keeping, and reporting, to ensure solid record retention and availability to the finance team.
- Manage day-to-day credit card and purchasing card program and users, to ensure authorized users can travel and procure appropriately for their roles and responsibilities.
- Initiate wire transfers process remote check deposits, assist with in-house check runs, perform basic account reconciliations to provide support to the treasury and accounts payable teams.
- Reconcile and allocate specific travel and cafeteria-related invoices to make sure costs are carried by the correct business units and companies.
- Organize and take minutes in quarterly Profit-Sharing Committee Meetings to ensure proper recording and follow-up for the members of the Committee.
- Coordinate department meetings and activities to provide engagement within the team.
- And any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization's Values.

- Associates degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
- 2-3 Years of administrative experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including SharePoint. Experience with Concur a plus
- Notary public certification a plus
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles, insurance, and payment processes
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to envision the most effective and efficient processes to get the job done, and always being focused on continuous improvement
- Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently

Located in the suburb of West Chicago (near Naperville and Geneva), our 60-acre property boasts 10 acres of display gardens. The gardens are primarily used as a sales and marketing tool but also provide a great relaxation opportunity for staff at the home office. Perennials, annuals, vegetables, roses, and shrubs are blooming from May through September.
