Job Description
We are looking for a talented Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our administrative offices by assisting in daily office responsibilities in our A/R Department. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, professional, and able to undertake a variety of office support tasks. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail. This is an entry-level position but, one with many opportunities within our fast-growing company.
A/R Responsibilities:
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets for weekly A/R reports
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets for Operations reports
- Scan tax and insurance certificates into database for customer accounts
- Scan approved credit applications into database for customer accounts
- Assist with review of statements
- Apply payments to accounts
- E-mail invoices to customers as needed
- Prepare certified mail receipts and updating of customer information on returned mail
- Assisting with routine audits
- Complete credit reference requests
- Making credit collection calls
- Miscellaneous filing
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, Word, and office equipment. Ultimately, a successful Administrative Assistant will improve the efficiency of day-to-day operation of our office.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter
- Proficiency in MS Office
- High School or Equivalent education completion
- A minimum of 1 year experience in Administrative Assistant duties
