Administrative Assistant
Ergon, Inc. has an opening for an Administrative Assistant for its Corporate Procurement Services Department in Flowood, MS. Ergon is a family-owned oil and gas company based in the Jackson, MS area with facilities across the US. EMIS is a subsidiary with facilities that support marine traffic up and down the Mississippi River. Our facilities are located in Vicksburg, MS, and Memphis, TN.
The Administrative Assistant provides full-range administrative support to the Corporate Procurement Services department, consisting of four distinct areas of service for Procurement, Travel, Fleet, and Corporate Cards. This role also administers various systems and business processes employed by the department.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent as a minimum, but preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree in a business- related field or 2+ years of related work experience. The following qualifications are also vital to success in this role:

Administrative Assistant Key Roles/Duties:
- Provide primary depth for the Corporate Travel Coordinator role, ensuring timely booking and support for employee business travel
- Reconciliation of corporate billing for rental cars (Avis & Budget)
- Manage and support Ergon's strategic national office supply account
- Manage departmental P-Card account, including coding and submission of monthly reports in Concur
- Assist Corporate Fleet Administrator with ferrying of company owned vehicles
- Manage departmental office equipment and supplies
- Organize departmental meetings and activities
- Manage inventory and distribution of retirement gifts
- Assist with management of Ergon Company Store (branded items)
- Departmental mail distribution
- Support department personnel with various administrative duties as requested
