POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant
DEPARTMENT: 5 Star Car Rental, Inc.
REPORTS TO: Office Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, and check runs
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Assist with month end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Assist Controller and Fleet with various duties as assigned by Office Manager
- Daily trips to pick up and deliver assorted paperwork to various locations in Rapid City area.
- Responsible for outgoing mail preparation.
- Assist in answering incoming phone calls.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Knowledge of accounts payable
- Proficient in data entry and management
- 1-3 years accounts payable or general account experience preferred
