Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for supporting Savencia Cheese USA LLC (Kolb-Lena) Goat Milk Patron Program, Operations projects and administrative tasks.
Essential Functions

· Create monthly goat milk purchase order based on price provided by Plant Controller and/or Dairy Procurement Manager;
· Coordinate annual patron meetings and set up quarterly patron board meetings;
· Prepare and process sales orders and bills of lading for all outgoing sales of goat milk, cow whey cream, separated whey, goat whey and permeate;
· Prepare documentation and process invoices/debit memos/credit memos for sales of goat milk, cow whey cream, separated whey, goat whey and permeate;
· Assist in preparation of a detailed milk and cream analysis report by collecting and entering information regarding milk purchases, milk sales, outside sweet cream purchases, whey cream sales, whey protein sales, beginning/ending inventories and reported production usage;
· Maintain daily milk receipts, by grade, by entering the data into the patron payroll disbursement system and an excel spreadsheet to enable a monthly reconciliation;
· Interact and coordinate with internal and external testing laboratories. Input monthly butterfat, protein, other solids, somatic cell count and plate count averages by patron using laboratory information systems. Results also to be tracked for patron scorecard system;
· Communicate with the Accounts Payable Department to print the patron checks, acquire the proper signatures and overnight them to Kolb-Lena in order for them to be prepared and delivered to the patrons two times per month;
· Input data into access software for the lab, milk prep, production and quality control;
· Input Purchase Order data and values into Meastro for milk receipts;
· Assist and implement the transition of goat payroll and plant data entry to new organization;
· Assist with event organization;
· Assist and coordinate new hires.
o Making orientation packets/swag bags
o Completing hourly orientations (HR portion)
o Collecting and validating all new hire paperwork and sending to the HR Manager
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use fingers to type. This position is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required and potential occasional farm visits. This would be the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary and traveling and walking on farms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Days and hours vary depending on the shift and department.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English;
- One year of administrative experience;
- Computer proficiency;
- Driver’s License.
