Job Scope: Be a key team member responsible for providing efficient and organized support to the organization. Use your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office to contribute to the smooth operation of the office and play a vital role in supporting the organization’s overall success.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assists with compiling minutes and other committee summaries.
- Populates and aggregates reports, create spreadsheets, and preparing/distributing/collecting information.
- Maintains external and inter-agency satisfaction surveys and working agreements.
- Maintains policy and procedures for the agency.
- Maintains agency acknowledgments to funders.
- Organizes shared network drive information and maintains electronic file storage.
- Ensures complete, accurate, and timely information is reported to Leaders and/or Committees.
- Performs typing, proofreading, and filing tasks.
Performance Requirements
- Excellent computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, clerical, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Competency in the agency’s computer software and file storage system.
- Flexibility in handling changing assignments.
- Accepts responsibility and accountability.
- Ability to value diversity, accept differences, apply cultural knowledge, and adapt to different cultural contexts.
Education and Experience
- High school degree required
- Minimum 2 years of general office/administrative work experience
- Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance, and automobile.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday at 40 hours a week, with flexibility in schedule.
