Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily operations of the clinic
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Collect patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up care as needed
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Proven experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance billing processes
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
