The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to the College administrative team members. Support to include, but not limited to, answering telephones, typing correspondence, contract database administration and management, outlook calendar management and other duties as required for special projects. As part of the administrative team, provide courteous customer service and assistance to students, staff, and visitors, appropriately and confidentially field and channel complaints, requests, and information to proper hospital and HEI department personnel.
- Perform a variety of administrative or executive support tasks that are highly confidential and sensitive. Maintains confidentiality of materials and information.
- Efficiently and accurately handles multiple projects/tasks and submits in a timely manner.
- Assists with compilation and submission of reports, including proof reading materials for accuracy, correct punctuation, and grammar.
- Prepares agendas for meetings, transcribes, and distributes minutes of meetings. Advises program directors and campus administrator of and items needed for the meeting or agenda.
- Maintains and orders equipment and supplies as necessary
- Schedules program community advisory board meetings in collaboration with program directors and campus director.
- Transports delivery of sensitive documents to other locations.
- Collaborates with program directors and campus director to review and maintain clinical affiliation agreements.
- Administer program surveys as directed.
- Serve on college, Richmond Higher Education Institutions, and/or health system committees as assigned. Collaborate and build relationships within the College, Richmond Higher Education Institutions, health system, and community.
Required Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Two Year Associate Degree-Healthcare related or Business Admin.
Minimum Years and Type of Experience: Experience in a admin role in a hospital setting or medical office setting
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Proficiency in keyboarding and computer programs such as Word, and Excel.
