Overview
Under the direction of the Customer Care Manager, provides operational support to the Customer Care Coordinators for residential domestic moves. The coordinator works as a liaison between the Sales Representative, Customer Care and Operations to ensure all aspects of the move are properly arranged and within our operational guidelines Position interacts with several service areas within the organization, including Dispatch, Operations, International, Claims, Sales, etc. to ensure that all relocation activities are performed in accordance with contractual and industry guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain communication throughout the move process with sales, coordinators, driver, and operations.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary information and paperwork to ensure an efficient and timely relocation for the customer.
- Alert and update appropriate parties to any change or modifications to schedule.
- Ensures file content is complete and accurate.
- Communicates directly with the sales and coordinator teams to schedule and confirm appointment times, delivery, and start times for all assigned jobs within the system.
- Provides essential support to the Front Desk Receptionist when coverage is required. This includes but is not limited to:
- Warmly greeting and assisting all visitors in a professional demeanor.
- Effectively managing a high-volume phone line, ensuring that calls are answered promptly and directed to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Organizing incoming mail and distributing it to the respective recipients.
- Serves as the backup for customer facing coordinators as needed.
- Responsible for the data integrity in the system regarding domestic residential moves.
- Orders and arranges all third-party services and operational services for the customer.
- Works with Customer Care Coordinators to confirm bookings and reserve resources, materials, and equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional customer service presence, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency using computer, common office equipment and MS Office applications.
- Proven problem-solving skills, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment.
- Experience in the relocation, real estate, or transportation industry preferred.
