Job Description
The ideal Assistant will be a self-starter to assist Account Managers and CEO with account servicing and sales. The key function of this role is to provide the highest quality service to customers while growing their insurance knowledge and skills in the business. The Assistant will be the day-to-day link between the insurance carriers and assigned accounts within the agency.

Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls to existing and potential clients and maintain consistent and quality service to customers.
- Respond to customers - billing questions, generating invoices, and assisting with payments.
- Provide assistance to the President for Customer Service, marketing, and other special projects
- Help agents prepare paperwork for quoting new business, obtaining reports and quotes
- Assist claims reporting between customers and carriers, and ensure accurate and complete documentation in agency records
- Assist in processing client payments, and billing questions
- Manage documents and file storage (paper and in electronic client database)
- Maintain agency digital files (EPIC) accurately, with consistent documentation of calls, emails, and other notes and attachments, following all agency and carrier procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous office experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- High school diploma or GED
- Agency Management System, CRM, or other paperless computer system
