Title: Tax Administrative Assistant
Location: Parkville, MD
Hours:
Hire Date – February 1st: 9am-4pm Monday-Thursday.
February 5th – April 15th: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (some OT or flexibility may be required)
Pay: $19-24/hour DOE
Contract: Temporary
Duration: ASAP – April 15th 2024
Please note that due to the volume of work, scheduled time off will not be approved from February 5th to April 15th.
Our client is a small CPA office in Parkville, MD looking for a temporary administrative assistant to provide support during the upcoming 2024 tax season.
Responsibilities:
- Checking phone/ directing calls.
- Scheduling appointments
- Return email requests
- Clerical duties / Administrative support
- Run errands including but not limited to picking up supplies, attending
Requirements:
- Reliable Own form of Transportation
- Experience using Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to type a minimum of 40 WMP.
- 2 years minimum of Administrative and Office Support Experience
Preferable:
- QuickBooks Experience
- Tax Office Experience and/or a Knowledge of tax terms and practices.
