Job Purpose for Admin Assistant / Caregiver on Call position:
We are looking for a versatile individual who can seamlessly transition between office management duties and providing exceptional caregiving services to our clients as needed. The Admin Assistant / Caregiver on Call will be responsible for managing administrative tasks within the office environment while also being available to assist with caregiving duties for our clients on an on-call basis. This position requires a proactive and flexible individual who is dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support to our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities for Admin Assistant / Caregiver on Call position :
1. Provides administrative support to office staff in the daily management of operations.
2. Greeting the public, clients, and caregivers; answering phones; receiving and responding to inquiries/referrals from the public or other agencies concerning the company’s operations and directing calls to the Personal Care Administrator or CEO
3. Performs various duties associated with personnel administration, which may include receipt of applications, coordinating and organizing interviews, establishing and maintaining confidential employee records, coordinating required pre-employment testing with CHCR, background checks, and processing related paperwork.
4. Performs other clerical/administrative work as required, which may include but is not limited to copying documents, filing/retrieving files, reviewing and processing mail, faxing information, maintaining calendars, ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies and materials, etc.
5. Acting as backup support for all office staff including, scheduling caregivers in clients’ homes and participating in the scheduled rotation of the on-call phone on a regular or as-needed basis.
6. Participates in the evaluation of office procedures and the making of recommendations for modifications as necessary to maintain efficient and effective office operations.
7. Operates a variety of standard office equipment, which may include computers, printers, copiers, adding machines, fax machines, paper shredders, telephones, postage machines, etc.
8. Perform work-related errands that assist in daily functions: Post Office, Bank, Staples, etc. 9. 5% - Any other duties as assigned.
10. Assisting Team Responsibilities: Assisting team participant and providing professional support to each team member in every aspect to allow maximum function and productivity within the company as well as quality services within the home.
11. Attend all team meetings, report recent office activity, and actively participate in problem-solving, new ideas, and all areas related to the company.
12. Report directly to the Personal Care Administrator regularly with pertinent information related to the team, caregivers, clients, scheduling, or any information relevant to the Administrative Office Assistant position.
13. Communicate regularly with the Personal Care Administrator relaying pertinent information in relation to client and caregiver issues, inquiries/referrals for care, or any information relevant to working together to maintain quality services.
14. Must be able to work in a small office environment and be comfortable with a small dog often being in the office space.
15. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay Rate for Admin Assistant / Caregiver on Call position:
$17 per hour base rate + $255 Biweekly Bonus (every payroll)
$19 per hour for Weekend shifts
$20 per hour for Facility Staffing

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CNA/HHA/PCA from Virginia (Preferred)
