Job Summary
Looking for a full-time receptionist (M-F 10-7) at Acupuncture Clinic in Albany. Candidate must be a polite person, sensitive to patients and be able to multitask.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, and use word processing, spreadsheet, or other software applications to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories, or medical records.
- File and maintain records. Receive payment and record receipts for services.
- Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- Perform various clerical or administrative functions, such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
- Interview patients to complete documents, case histories, or forms, such as intake or insurance forms.
- Perform duties, such as straightening magazines to maintain lobby or reception area.
- Cleaning/Laundry and setting up the treatment rooms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic computer skills (word, excel, google drive, etc)
- Able to multitask
