Intrepid Solutions has open an Acquisition Logistics Management Specialist position supporting our US Army TENCAP client to help enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures in Alexandria, VA.
The Logistician shall provide logistics support as follows:
- The Contractor will be extremely knowledgeable on IPS elements, as defined by AR 700-127, Integrated Product Support, and intent of the process; then tailor the actions to best fit PdM TENCAP systems. The IPS elements include Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Maintenance Planning & Management, Manpower and Personnel, Supply Support, Support Equipment, Technical Data, Training and Training Support, Computer Resource Support, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHST).
- The Contractor will work in concert with Project and Product Management Teams to provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) for multiple products and coordinate support activities with organizations throughout the DoD, US Army, and other Federal agencies to ensure effective, efficient, and timely completion of the PdM TENCAP product support mission.
- The Contractor will apply life cycle Logistics Management concepts and methodology to assigned projects and supports the execution of IPS, DoD requirements determination, program planning, budget and execution, wholesale and retail supply system, and contract administration/ procurement.
- The Contractor will support management of supply support for the lifecycle sustainment of assigned Army TENCAP equipment.
- The Contractor will support the adaptive Acquisition Framework acquisitions disciplines and specialties such as test and evaluation, reliability and maintainability, safety, and configuration management.
- The Contractor will use the processes outlined in the IPS development guidebook to perform product support analysis, business case analysis, life-cycle sustainment planning and transition to sustainment.
- The Contractor will provide written technical documentation, papers, presentations, and Course of Action (COA) analysis to guide the decision-making process of the IPT and WG.
- The Contractor will support Army and DoD force structure requirements and will coordinate with multiple organizations and points of contact as required to ensure thorough and accurate communication to complete type classification, new LIN assignment, and TOE Basis of Issue Plan, and Feeder Data.
- The Contractor will support New Equipment Training activities and coordination with the manufacturer, the receiving unit, and other interested parties in the fielding of assigned systems.
- The Contractor will coordinate with other directorates and outside agencies to formally transition items through the lifecycle, i.e. coding, testing, acquisition, vendor management, formal documentation across DoD programs.
- The Contractor will develop, coordinate, maintain, and update acquisition documents, such as Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP).
- The Contractor will coordinate with external agencies, prepare and update required management and acquisition documentation for programmatic approvals and reviews such as the Type Classification and Materiel Release.
- The Contractor will support procurement or development of technical documentation, Technical Manuals, Repair Parts Special Tool Lits (RPSTL).
- The Contractor will be able to access common logistics applications in support of IPS: Force Management System Web Site (FMSWEB), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCCS-Army), and Cloud Equipping (cQuiP) program.
- The Contractor will participate in Logistic Working Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs), responsible for organizing meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, executive summaries, and action items, etc.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.
- This position permits telework one day per week.
TRAVEL:
- Limited or minimal travel expected.
CLEARANCE:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree preferred
CERTIFICATION(S):
- DAU Level II Certification in Life Cycle Logistics OR Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) recommended
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of experience providing logistics support to the Intelligence Community (IC) or DOD.
- 7+ years of experience with medical product development, DOD T&E requirements and regulatory approval processes preferred.
- 5+ years of experience providing Integrated Product Support (IPS) to a DOD or IC program office.
