Form of workSeeking an IT System Change Management Specialist to join a team supporting ERP logistics capabilities for the US Army. Assist with solution design to implement demands and changes to ERP systems and manage requests through the Change Management process. The candidate will use ServiceNow to perform requirements gathering, develop resource plans, and facilitate the request process from demand to implementation.
- Provide functional, technical, and business support for data management, data integrity and data accuracy of Enterprise Army Defense Business Systems implementations.
- Provide technical expertise to support client master data initiatives.
- Review requirements and related development recommendations, deliverables, and work-products to ensure they support accurate solution implementation.
- Manage Demands/Changes through the Change Management process by documenting requirements and capturing the level of effort to develop resource plans, participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) to make recommendations to the validity of the technical solution for proposed Change Requests (CRs).
- Actively participate in agile events and provide critical feedback for prioritization, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Review technical deliverables to ensure a) requirements are complete, consistent, unambiguous, and testable; b) requirements meet evaluation criteria for system maintainability, reliability, and usability; and c) requirements adhere to the system documentation methodology.
- Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) including development of agenda, content, Identify, follow up and track action items through completion.
- Identify and document issues, risks, and recommendations for implementation of demands and requested system/solution changes.
- Ensure demands and related solutions comply with audit and cyber policy and procedures.
- Support responses to audit artifact requests and support related Audit team activities as needed.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7-12 years demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and monitoring SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) master data solutions.
- Must possess technical background in SAP systems such as the SAP PI, Solution Manager, BI/BW, and Enterprise Core Components (ECC).
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar service platform.
- Release management, development management, integration management, test management experience and project management / scheduling experience.
- Experience with master data integration across multiple systems to include managing interfaces, data governance, replicating data across systems, and brokering data among systems.
- Ability to capture functional specifications and translate that into technical requirements.
- Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Agile experience.
Desired:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Agile certifications.
- SAP S/4 HANA Cloud or system experience.
- Detailed master data knowledge of DoD ERP programs with knowledge of Army ERP solutions preferred such as:
- Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army)
- Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)
- Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS).
- SAP ECC component experience with modules including:
- Defense Forces Public Sector (DFPS)
