Responsibilities:
- Review and process billing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other billing documents
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or errors
- Communicate with clients or vendors to address billing inquiries or issues
- Maintain billing records and documentation in an organized manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing
Qualifications:
- Experience with Allscripts billing processes preferred and may be required
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a billing or finance capacity
- Ability to transcribe data with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in order entry and typing skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading abilities
- Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications
- Experience as a personal assistant or medical receptionist is beneficial
- Familiarity with phone systems for handling billing inquiries

Pay: $16.95 - $17.00 per hour
