Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager – Financials & Trusts, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for the Firm’s Accounts Receivables, including reviewing and recording incoming deposits in accordance with determined procedures and deadlines. This position requires an organized and highly motivated team player with strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and precision executing directions and completing tasks.
Essential Functions
- Enter daily deposits on time, accurately, and according to firm procedures
- Research application solutions through multiple databases/programs
- Work directly with attorneys to resolve questions about payments and accounts
- Investigate and answer questions from internal management and outside clients
- Call clients to identify payments
- Other duties and administrative support tasks required
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred or equivalent experience
Experience: Law Firm experience is a plus.
Skills:
- Microsoft Office skills and strong Excel skills required with a desire to stay current technologically
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Strong ability to research questions and problem solve
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet changing deadlines

Pay: $22.26 - $29.00 per hour
