Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• The Accounts Receivable Specialist will prepare, verify, and record client payments and transactions related to Accounts Receivable.
• Research and collect payment remittance and apply funds to appropriate account/s.
• Research and reach out to customers and apply existing credits to appropriate account/s.
• Verify and correct any discrepancies.
• Soft collections: reaching out to customers who are past due via phone and email.
• Payment conversions.

Preferred Skills for the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Customer Service experience, ability to use the phone and/or be on video calls.
• Experience navigating ERP Systems.
• Experience using MS Excel.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be proficient in data entry skills and general math skills.
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
