Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the Accounting department by ensuring receipt of accurate and timely payments. The individual must have a strong drive to quickly understand NGL's business operations and to achieve the overall initiative of maintaining critical customer accounts.
General Duties and Responsibilities

• Review invoicing for customers before invoices are sent through RightAngle
• Send confirmation emails daily for upcoming payments on business-to-business transactions.
• Monitor customer accounts on a daily basis in order to address and escalate potential issues.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant coding and processing of invoices for on-time payment.
• Analyze and solve invoicing and interface errors.
• Address customer inquiries and requests with accuracy and urgency.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve customer disputes; act as a liaison between the customer and our operations team.
• Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions in relation to anticipated payments, disputes, rebills, adjustments, etc.
• Build relationships while communicating professionally with internal and external customers whether by phone, email or postal correspondence.
• Work professionally and proactively with business segment leaders while enforcing department standards.
• Complete other duties and miscellaneous projects as assigned.
• Assist with daily application of incoming cash received as Wire, ACH and check.
• Assist with reporting daily cash expectations.
• Provide coverage for other customer accounts during team absences.
• Regular attendance at the worksite is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
• Ability to manage high volumes of e-mail communication is required.
• Excellent mathematical skills and keen attention to detail are required.
• Professional collection skills required.
• Must be dependable with a stable work history.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are critical.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
• Candidates should demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
• Must display professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Must be a team player willing to assist in various tasks.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.
• Ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.
• Must be committed to working safely at all times.

Experience/Education:

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable collections is preferred.
• RightAngle experience is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.

Travel:
Negligible travel required.
