The Account Receivable Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate processing of client invoices and payments, as well as resolving discrepancies, communicating with clients and developing client relationships.The Account Receivables Specialist responsibilities will include:Maintain and become familiar with the client and contracts to ensure accurate billing information is received from the Project ManagersMaintain timely, accurate and organized collection reports, as well as regular communication and follow up with clients, as needed, to ensure payments are receivedKey player in the interaction with the other departments to receive job costing details from project managers and crew leaders in a timely manner to create client invoicesReview all communication materials to ensure accuracy before sending to a client. Establish and maintain Accounts Receivable and billing guidelines and processes Maintain strong working relationships with all department and clientsPrepare and review timely/accurate invoices. Demonstrate and maintain high standards of accountability to deliver superior billing information and customer service on a timely basisSupport and lead special projects in support of the business prioritiesPromote and foster continuous improvement through an empowering, open minded and proactive approach and by acting as a catalyst for change managementSupport and lead office system process improvement efforts (Quickbooks, MS Office, ZenDesk, BOSS LM)Assist in month-end closing processEnsure all billing is completed in a timely manner and the books are closed monthly on time. Cross train on all accounting duties.Collaborate and assist in meeting all finance goals and objectives. Requirements:Accounts Receivable Specialist should have:Previous experience in billing and accounting roles. Associates degree or higher in Communications, Business, Finance or related field desired Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work self-directed with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Experience with BOSS LM, ZenDesk and Google Suite.
